Jupiter Enters Aquarius : Dec. 20, 2009

Cosmic Benevolence for 2010 - Based on Moon Sign.

There are two planets (Jupiter & Saturn) and two nodes (Rahu & Ketu) the transit of which lasts for one year or more, affecting human life greatly. Human affairs are influenced by the planets at two levels; firstly at the natal chart level (dasa and bhukti periods) and secondly the transit level, the latter operating under the ambit of the natal chart. Vedic astrology revolves around the moon from the point of predictions, and hence, the transit is judged from the natal moon position.

Most importantly, the judgement of the natal horoscope is firstly made as the correct synthesis can be arrived at if the nature of dasha and bhukti results are assessed and transit planets results are transposed.  Beneficence and malfeasance are increased or decreased accordingly in the final analysis and to arrive at the right moment of event occurrence.

Presently under discussion is the effect of the transit of Jupiter as it enters Aquarius on 20th December, 2009, and stays in the sign upto 5th May, 2010. Being in fast movement it will further move to Pisces to remain their from May 5 to July 24, 2010. It comes back to Aquarius on Nov.2 and again moves on to Pisces on December 6, 2010. It is effectively transiting Aquarius only for 5 months as compared usual 11 to 12 months.

This unusual flip-flop movement of Jupiter in less than one year within two signs Aquarius and Pisces, makes the results also uncertain such that the positive or negative implication of this transit will be short lived.  So, it will be best to “Make Hay While the Sun Shines” for positive results and to have patience for the negative results pass off, without damaging much.

Aries – Mesh (Moon Sign – Alphabets : ‘chu’, ‘che’ ‘cho’ ‘la’, ‘lee’, ‘lu’, ‘lo’, ‘a’)

Taking opportunity to upgrade your competitiveness at work will be helpful. Some setback for professionals is foreseen. Injury or physical strain may affect your health or self and/or spouse. Taurean may donate Dal Chana for better results.

Gemini - Mithur (Moon Sign – Alphabets : ‘ka’, ‘kee’, ‘ku’, ‘gh’, ‘dd’ ‘chh’ ‘ke’, ‘ko’, ‘hh’)

Ladies may suffer ill health, so there is need for due check ups on any sign of problem. Sudden and unexpected promotions are coming your way, even move to a better job profile is likely. Students must also watch their health and find way to improve their memory and concentration. It is not a good year to start a higher study or enter a competitive exam. Foreign travel is favourable, however, association or staying abroad is not. Feed bird daily, and bird-bath water for birds on the northern side of your home.

When weak and afflicting it causes stress in relationships, problems in job, problems to parents and causes financial worries/setbacks.

Aquarius - Kumbh (Moon Sign – Alphabets : ‘goo’, ‘gey’, ‘gou’, ‘saa’, ‘see’, ‘soo’, ‘sey’, ‘sou’, ‘daa’)

One can have the tulsi planted in a specially built structure with images of deities on all four sides, and an alcove for a small earthen oil lamp to be lighted morning and evening. Hand and fingers when held in defined postures generate tremendous energy flow governed by five great elements. Thumb represents agni (fire), forefinger (index) represents vayu (air), middle finger represents akash (ether), ring finger represents prithvi (earth) and little finger represents apa or jal (water).

Discussed here are only the mudras related to creation of vaastu balance. For better result, these are practiced sitting cross-legged with fingers held gently together in defined posture for 5 to 40 minutes daily, by gradual increase in time devoted.

One most common mudra is Gyan Dhyan Mudra when the thumb and index fingers are brought together. This is depicted by great thinkers in meditative poses of Buddha, Mahavira, Christ, Guru Nanak and other great ones. Its practice ensures mental peace, concentration, memory and spirituality. It helps develop intuition as well. It can be practiced to remove affliction in northeast corner of your home, office or factory.

Surya Mudra is practiced when ring finger is placed at the base of the thumb and thumb is placed over the ring finger giving flow of special energy. It reduces obesity and tension and promotes body balance. This brings about the balance in the East part of the vaastu purush apart from given a robust body to the practitioner.

A balanced west of the vaastu purush can be obtained by practicing Varuna Mudra. Touch the tip of the little finger with the tip of the thumb while the other fingers are kept upright. Regular practice ensures an optimum level of water in the body and heals all water related ailments.

Apan Vayu Mudra or Hriday Mudra can be practiced for imbalance in the Brahmsthana and/or northwest corner. Fold the forefinger down and touch the mound of the thumb. The middle finger and ring fingers touching gently the thumb with the little finger held erect is prescribed for help in heart regulation as well as asthma and breathing problems.

Energisation of the entire vaastu purush, and especially, the creation of balance in northeast corner or direction can be brought about by Pran Mudra. The little and ring finger when placed on the thumb help improve your own vitality, eyesight. The other mudra for the same purpose of energising the vaastu purush in general is Prithvi Mudra i.e. join the ring finger and the thumb together.

South or southwest direction when afflicted in vaastu, Apan Mudra can be practiced.
The middle finger and the ring finger touching the tip of the thumb while the forefinger and the little finger are held upright. This even gives relief in urinary problems or discharge of waste matter from the body. Purification of vaastu purush and your body system is intensified by this.

Akash mudra is formed when the upper tip of the thumb is touched with the front portion of the middle fingle in Vajrasana removes affliction in the Brahmasthan and problems caused by wrong placement of columns and beams in the home, office and factory. Prithvi mudra is achieved by touching the thumb with the ring finger giving the almost the similar vaastu dosh removal effects.

Most necessarily, all other fingers than those joined should be held straight and the eyesight either set straight or half closed - as in meditation.
